You can buy a boat in various stages from kit form to rtr and in the end you will have a much better built, better handling boat for race or play and spend little more than you would on an Aquacraft or another "commercial" brand.
 
You guys were talking about running out of water? I used a washer pump in a bucket of water and ran mine for quite some time.Just kept the bucket full and made sure the pump was doing its job.Used a car battery for power with the hose set on low.Check out ware house hobbies,(whhonline.com),they have the best boats around period!!
