hey all i am new to the 1/5 scale and gas world in rc

i have a km 30.5cc runs and drives good starts up easy blows no smoke and i know when they are tuned right they shouldnt blow any smoke im mixed at 15 to 1

but on a high speed run it seems likt there is no top end it will accelerate fine and to mee it only seems like it revs to maby 3/4 of what it should (im fimilliar with 2 strokes) but i have never rely tuned one other than a nitro

almost acts like it hits a rev limiter but i know these don't have any

can you all help me a lil?
 
I hope you meant that you are running 25 to 1!!!! Have you set your high speed needle yet? That will increase the revs and give more top end.
 
alright that helped alot but my car seems to keep breaking the back upper motor mounnt screw where it attaches back to the bulk head on the pull start side

I to have had that happen ! Go to hardware and find Stainless Steal metic cap head machine bolts same thread and lenght can be slightly longer...
Mine has never broken since...
