New wheel for FG wheelie bar

Has anyone replaced the original wheel on FG wheelie bar with a roller blade wheel or the like if so could you post which wheel and/or bearings used.

Not sure anyone has. You would need a skinny one to fit between the braces wouldn't you?

yeah went to sports authority they have one that will fit problem i see is finding proper bearing size that will fit in wheel but also fit over the axle. Gonna try to find skateboard or roller skating shop see what I can come up with.

Check to see if you can find a bearing that has the OD and ID of the bearing.

Ok thanks yes finding bearing will be the hardest part. Might end up using just original wheel.

skateboard & roller skate bearings are usually 8x22x7 same as FG wheel bearings

Ok thanks is it safe to say that the wheelie bar bearing is same size as axle bearing

Ok finally was able to replace FG wheel got a roller blade wheel and removed the FG bearings in went into new roller blade wheel without a hitch. Just went to lhs bought a piece of aluminum tubing and cut two spacers to center wheel on axle and works like a dream. Will try take some pics if anyone interested.
