I can take pics for everyone. I'm using only the cy fan shroud. Everything else is zen. It bolts in. It's a 4 bolt g290. I may have not even had to change fan shroud, but did not try to fit with it

you need to change the fan shroud or make a bigger hole for one of the bolts on the chassis. that is what i did.

the clutch side has a difference but that is in the bottom of the engine again and it is not used on the redcats. baja owners have to modify them though.

That is correct. Baja owners need to use a cy clutch housing but can use zen fan cover. That is as per Brendan at DDM.

they might bolt into a baja but were talking about it bolting into a rampage the zen fan shroud holes are spaced a few mm wider than the cy fan housing holes, you have to notch the chassis mounting holes for it to fit, into the rampage now on the other side (the clutch side) once you have the chassis notched and the fan shroud bolted up to the chassis the zen clutch does not line up with the gearplate, again off by a few mm so like rob said you can use a 4 bolt zen motor with a cy fan shroud and cy clutch housing... and not have to do any notching or drilling, im almost 100% sure the zen and cy clutch housing are diffrent and also the fan shouds are diffrent I may be wrong?? sorry to keep asking but it don't add up?? im thinkin the new g290 motors have cy clutch housing or??

the fan side as you can see has a problem for one bolt that on the CY is 35mm and on the zen 38mm from the center line.

from back to front the face of the clutch plate has a difference of 1mm

i cannot see how these create a problem. 1mm at 200mm distance is not that much.

Again. The only thing I used cy was the fan shroud. Everything else including all the bolts for the gear plate line up. It's all together and I have ran it only for few min. Will break in more this weekend and post a review.
