Just picked up my first 5th scale gasser. Dunerunner. So far so good. Any tips or tricks u can give would be appreciated. Its all stock.

haven't run it yet. Took it all apart yesterday to check it out. Cleaned it completely. Took the diffs apart. What weight oil do you all use for these buggys. I put 50 in the front and 40 in the rear. Silicone. Rebuilding shocks now. What weight is best for shocks as well?

I don't know about the shock oil weight, but I use 10,000 silicone weight oil in my diffs for my MT. You can Google the shock weight oil type.

On my nitro buggies i run 7 front 10 center 5 rear. But on my savage and revo i run 50 front 40 rear. Gives me more bite. Again im new to this scale so any advice will help. Ill try setup im using and see.

Are the aluminum upgrades worth it on these trucks for bashing? I have the two front arms in aluminum.

Yes they are worth it. Plastic doesn't hold up very long.
