Well I got my new servos installed for the most part. I plugged up my battery so I could turn the truck on and let the servos zero themselves out. I noticed the steering servo did not zero out. I swapped the servos from channel 1 to 2 and vice versa and then the steering servo zeroed out but the throttle wouldn't move.

apparently I am not getting any power out of channel 1. Any ideas? Bad receiver? Maybe something I'm doing wrong?

thanks in advance guys!

Okay so I stole the batteries out of every remote control in my house so I could test the steering and it definitely works. So I guess I'm just an idiot and have no idea what I'm talking about. On top of that, I'm getting the stink eye from my girlfriend for stealing all the batteries in the house haha.

Why does the steering servo not attempt to zero out when I turn on the truck? Is that normal?

The transmitter must be turned on first, then the receiver (truck). The transmitter must have good batteries also. If not, the receiver may trigger the built in failsafe.
