No Shock Ends Sold Seperately?

No shock ends sold seperately? Anyone wanna put in there $.02 on this? I think it'd be nice to order these seperately. I for one would order some spares since they break rather frequently.

Phat Dad sells bottom ends.


I got the HPI Baja shock parts. HPI part # 85410

The HPI ones are too short. Kaz, have you been using the HPI shock bottom's, are they working for you.


I just bought another set of shocks for part's.

Maybe it was the top end that I was using...because the heavy duty VVC shock shafts come with bottom ends.

I had to buy a spare shock (thanks GJ, he had a spare one) just for the end too...couldn'd find anything else to fit. decided that limiting straps was the way to stop this happeneing again

yep they do sell phatdad ends ...the elcon shaft ends look a better fit but I can't find them sold seperately

That would be great. I've been running the Phatdad ends, however, since they are too short they rest on the arm and are cockeyed. This is causing the spring to not be straight and catch the end of the shock body. My solution was to retap the stock shock end and use em with the Phatdads. Now my springs are straight.

ya. im not hearing what i want to hear and am stumped on what im going to do.. please correct me as necissary: so phatdads shock shafts that he sells on rampagehopups don't "really" fit our machines? hpi shocks don't "really" fit eather? mix matching odd parts to achieve a "jerry rig" is not my thing. i have alum suspension and im not drilling or grinding anything.. wondering what REALLY fits other then the stockers..help!!

get the bajampage phatdad kit or rampage phatdad shafts, the stock ends fit on both as they're made for the ramp, it's the shafts for the 5b that come with hpi ends that don't really fit

Mr. RampageHopups comfirmed that ones on the RampageHopups site are indeed specifically made for the Rampage. This is why I posted this thread cause I wanted some spares specifically for that shock set.
