ok to some this thread may be posted already but there are really a few thing i need to check over again.
very intrested on hearing your opinions on these things.

ok firstly oil.

1/what oil do you use and why?

2/what plug do you use and why?

3/what are your needle settings on your standard engine i am primaraly discussin ZENOAH G260 please. (standard)

4/what kind of zenoah engine do you use?

5/ what are your carb settings on break in on your ported big bore motor (or do you suggest if don't have)and on break in.

1/ok my choices are as follows.
standard zenoah settings, h-1 3/4 low-1 /12 break in same little richer and lean from there.

2/my plugs are ngk good quality,reliable with no bothers.

3/my oil is rock oil,castor oil, my opinion cause it is more oily than syntetics,once you start using castor you cannot directly change to syntetics,the whole engine must be stripped down and cleaned thoroughly,otherwise the new oil wont lube.. like oil to water.

so i suggest which ever oil you use stick to it.

4/my choice of mix is 5liters of fuel to 150ml of oil.

intrested to hear other choices now.:cool2:

2/what plug do you use and why? CMR7H - Because I can get them any time at the auto store a block away.:cool2:

4/what kind of zenoah engine do you use? G260 and a 27.2.

5/ what are your carb settings on break in on your ported big bore motor (or do you suggest if don't have)and on break in. try them at 2 out on both and adjust until i get it started and start tuning with ESP's list until right. Broke in in about an hour or two.:)

well btb hows the body today.

i tell you i ran the car today mmmmmmm mental,broke in,love it
it just wants to lift constantly from the front at any speed.
 
That is awesome. I cant imagine my 27 ported. WOW!:cool2:

well all i can say btb it is awesome man.

i was running it at 15mph WET ROAD ish and floor throttle and up she comes MAD. even though it was spinning it just wants to be airbourne.

sean o neill asked me to e-mail him and tell him what i thought of it when run in.
nothing but praise from me here anyway..

its mental,would recomend this kit to anybody.

Maxima 2 stroke oil. Great stuff, dino/synth blend, has an Excellent smell!!!

2/what plug do you use and why?
the NKG plug or Champion, usually NKGs

3/what are your needle settings on your standard engine i am primaraly discussin ZENOAH G260 please. (standard) this is going to vary for the most part. the altitude/ ambient temps, and even the carb used will make them very a bit from one to another.
not sure where my motor are at right now.


4/what kind of zenoah engine do you use? G260s until the new 29cc comes out.

5/ what are your carb settings on break in on your ported big bore motor (or do you suggest if don't have)and on break in.
start RICH and work down to runable with decent power. start aroudn 2 out on H and 1 1/2 on L. it will likely be Pig Rich on the low and you ll need to adjust it to keep the motor idleing. tune the low to keep it runnign, and then take some high speed runs to get the H needle tuned, then richen it up a tad. then run the poop out of it. once a tank is thru, i ll retune the H for my liking.
 
Oil:: I use Klotz R/C blend, I use it because I have used Klotz my sleds for years and I trust it, it is made for R/C use, plus it smells like Monster Horsepower (nitro)

Plugs:: I use NGK's I have ran them in my RX-7 and sleds for years never had a problem.

Mixture settings:: 1/16 richer than it came out of the box (both High and Low)

Zenoah:: Hell I can't afford that!! But I do have a CY GP290 w/stuffed crank
 
i did tell you dc2 that that engien is a real fire breather.

on my engien i use
Panolin 2 strock oil.
Shell V-Power 99 octane gasolin
NGK sparkplugs it´s the only make i use.
i always use 5% oil mix on a stock engien 54% i enough but when the power an d RPM rises it needs moore Oil

needle settinge i s a litle harder. i never count the rounds.
i start with 2 on both needles a first start up of a new engine and work my way from there.
i don't use a temp gun og tachometer.
i fine tune the engien by the ears. driv and listen, adjust, driv and listen adjust and so on til tha car realy kicks ass and the i take the needles a litle notch bak to get a sligtly rich setteing specialy on top.
