who uses stihl 2 stroke oil

I do and have had no problems.

I use 25:1 (4oz to 1 gallon of gas) of whatever they have at the gas station.

A good synthetic oil is going to yield a longer engine life overall. It lubricates better and also leaves less of a carbon build up in the exhaust port. For my money, its worth the extra few bucks.

I have started to use a ratio of 40:1 because 25:1 with stihl oil is to much oil i think from spraying out of the bolts of the exhaust and the spark plug was really oil. I think stihl is more thicker than the cheap 2 stroke oil. and on the stihl manual it says for 2 stroke stihl oil 50:1 for other branded 2 stroke oil use 25:1

I use anything that is ISO EGC or ISO EGD rated.

ok but what I am saying about the stihl oil is right. and the oil ration should be halved.

40:1 should be fine. You'll have to make sure your needles are perfect, though. You're using less oil, so the margin of error is smaller.

so am I right in saying that stihl oil is much thicker than the cheap 2 stroke oils
