Not much good if it peaks and troughs like it was indicated!!
I reckon a better view of the test is required, with options on tuning to clarify my possible misunderstanding!
To me, I saw something akin to a poorly developed 3.0 V10 F1 engine with a huge peak and spikes all over!

I'm allowing for it revving to 19-20k as the real F1 engines used to!!

Mmmmh, not so sure!!
They're amazing spikes and fall off VERY quickly once they reach both peak power and peak torque!!

The basic thoughts make sense, yet I've always been told short stroke engines rev higher, not long stroke ones .....
Proof of the pudding, as they say .....

If anyone gets one, let us all know how you get on.

its not a long stroke engine, its a long rod engine. it is a 2mm stroker 30.5, so its still 30mm stroke and 36mm cylinder. the difference is this engine uses a longer connecting rod. a longer rod reduces the rod angle and helps smooth out the powerband. to make it all work one of several things needs to be done, either a different piston with the pin higher up, machine the cylinder out to move the piston up, or from what ive seen, use a spacer between the head and block.

Full Mod - Our top of the line engines. OBR is proud to offer the first production long rod engine! At OBR we take pride in innovating and not duplicating!

might be the first production, however i know TMR has been working with long rod engines for a while now. i know he was talking about building them at least 6 months ago.
