Just put the Redcat pipe on my MT which always started great...still have the 20:1 break in fuel since it just go done with break in. Haven't touched the needles...wont start. Looks like everyone closed the LSN 1/4 turn after pipe, ill try that

UPDATE 1/8th turn in on LSN and started right up....Should I do anything with the HSN

ran good yesterday, then just started it and hi idle, wanting to take off, idle screw doesn't do anything.... Didnt change anything after i put it away last night. Returned the needle to stock 1/4lsn 1/2 hsn and now NO start

Everybody is trashing the RCR pipe but does it really make them this edgy...

Im ready to put the stock catbox back on...

sorry guys, another rookie error. Don't have a vented cap yet, unscrewed the cap and whaddya know, started right up...crappy thing is the high idle was probably a lean condition doh!

Anyone recommend a tank vent kit...I saw one on here a while ago but came remember the mfg now...

If you don't mind doing DIY stuffs, here is a mod I did to vent the cap.

If you can see there is a silicone tube connected on the fuel cap, I drilled a hole in the center just the same size (or a little smaller for a snug fit) as the hose, and connected the other end of the hose into the air filter by drilling another hole.

Good luck!

Correct me if I'm wrong but..if you roll the car all the fuel that hits the vent hose is now swamping the air filter and everything else near the center of the chassis. 99.9% of the people that have a tank vent have it route to the bottom of the chassis so when you flip it back to wheels the fuel will dribble down and away from your kit.

+1 yes that is very ture also seems like with that setup if you fill up your tank and run full you will have gas leaking into the air filter or the carb.
