has anyone ever try'd smoothin the top of the piston out on a lathe ? would that help detonation firing by chance ? instead of all rough and dimply ?
any input would be helpfull

not sure on what effects it would have. the boss motors in the bergs use a smooth flattop piston while the zens/cy use a dimply dome pistion.

at 30.00 for a new pistion/ring, its not much of a loss if you smooth it off and its a shitter.
