@Stalle....

Many guys in the field use this style of stand as it's light, packs away in a small package, is easily transportable and multi adjustable so perfect for getting it level on rough ground.

Granted it's probably not the most robust work stand but it works.

thats the stand for my touring car. made out of pvc pipe with a couple pieces of steel pipe in some areas for added strength

yea, it works great. the upright is steel, and i had to weld another fitting onto it for the diagnol support. mine has a 4" upright and i had some problems with the 2 flat pieces breaking so i changed them to steel. my dad has the same stand with a 2" rise without any issues. and the top does rotate as well, its just pipe fittings so i can go a turn in either direction without an issue. overall, very cheap and easy to build. ive always got tables so a tabletop stand was the ideal thing

work stand

here are mine.....
hope i am doing this right.......

Outtaluck, what stand is that and where did you get it?

The stand I use for my Baja 5B is a Team FastEddy stand - I've seen a number of stands, but the TFE stand kicks ass. It's about as simple as they come yet extremely practical. Daves Motors sells them for $165 but if you use coupon code LSF you can save 5%.

I have the Ridged work stand that I modified where I can swivel it 360 degrees. I all so glued some real stick rubber to the top which does a good job of keep my 5b SS from falling off. I have about $40 in it. I like a stand that is not taking up room on my work bench or pit table.
