i can't remember where i saw this and can't find it in the past pages but i want to power my servos from the battery instead of through the receiver can anyone help on a link to the thread or a wiring diagram so i could make the wiring loom??????????????

Charlieboy:what servos you going to do this too..?
you going duel steering servos?..If so you will need a Y Harness...

just the white or signal wire goes to the rx then. the black and red go to the battery. Y the battery so there is power to the rx as well though. either make up a cable or solder. I used mini deans plugs. now I just use a big lipo and a castle bec instead. it can provide 10 amps, so plenty of poop for digi servos

it used to be a big thing years ago because the rx's couldn't handle the draw. I haven't had a problem since going spektrum and I run all digi servos

just a single steerin and twin brake slaw, i read that the servos run beta with the full 6v from the rx battery. if the more modern stuff doesn't suffer then i'll leave it as it is just wanted to improve the response really ;)

Charlieboy..use a Y harness...Plug in both servo's the plug in to the RX..
You RX should be getting 6 volts.....But some Tx's were only 4.8 volts......
Can't remember about Spectrum's or Futrba...I would have to check there web site
for aTX model used.....Eamaple:sr3000tx for the specks.....
