Update time... had a massive exhaust leak from the gasket and of course I stripped out the bolts for the exhaust so ordered a new kit... started prepping the body for the wrap

1. Took the body off cage
2. Cleaned and degreased inside and outside of body and then removed decals using goo gone to remove excess glue.
3. Sanded the body down. (Noticed cracks by the cage mounting points gotta figure out a fix for that.)
4. Heated up the body and tried to push out the dents (didn’t work out so well)
5. Sprayed body black as a backer for my black wrap I’m not expecting to see much of the body when the wrap is done, but I don’t want to see white or green in the seems between the stickers.

Also sprayed the pull start with graphite spray because it wasn’t engaging the flywheel and then noticed the flywheel is missing some fins :/

I’ve been slowly learning that most of fifth scaling is waiting on parts... hahaha I really wish I had a LHS that carried parts for this rig. Oh well...

Anyone have any ideas on how to turn this...

You could try dyeing it? But I'm sure if thatd word cuz it's already Yellow

LOL....I was going to do that with mine using aluminum flashing from home depo!

I used it on my AE RC10....

Well ,I was going to use that stuff ,but shape it inside the wheel on the Baja ,an drill the holes much like what you showed .
those wheels are awesome that you showed!.....

Yeah I wanna keep the same wheels I just want them black. If I buy new ones I’m gonna look for that style though

I had painted wheels with by a brush with rustoleum paint ,but it will get scratched if the wheel gets hit by something!

I painted these on my Slash!

Well ,I don't think that yours would ,because the wheel has the black bead lock ring ,it would take the hit an not the inside
of the wheel ,my wheel does not have the ring ,an that is where my paint begins an already got scuffed by sliding into
a curb!

Your paint would be protected ,so ,I would say paint it ,they make paints that stick to plastic ,I just used what I had!....

You may be able to use some rit dye and turn them black. May take a boil or two, but they are a lighter color.

Vertigo clutch housing and new team fast eddy clutch carrier bearings (wish I sprung for the clutch carrier housing as well)

You may want to use wire or stainless wire ties on your header wrap. The plastic zip ties will most likely melt.

Yeah I had metal one but only had 2... had to cut them off because I wanted to redo the wrap.

I’m having trouble getting this thing started. It starts but it takes some effort and a bunch of yanks. I want to get it started on the first pull. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Spark-Fuel-Compression. Did you properly gap your ignition after replacing the flywheel?
