hi just fitted a new piston and head also bottom end as went from 26cc 2bolt to 29cc bigbore 4bolt.. had new bearings seals ect.. everything turns as it should . just that the pull satrt is really hard to pull . iknow new engines ect are hard to pull to seat in ring n that....but dnt wana break me pullstart any ideas guys for me .. thanks in advance.....
 
I wonder if something in the rotating assembly is not seated properly.
Did you split the case?
When you had the case back together before the head was installed how did it spin over? Of course the piston would be hanging up but you should still be able to feel weather or not everything is turning over nice and easy.

I would tear it back down and start over. Assemble the lower end, check for easy free spinning crank. install the head again check for free easy spinning without the spark plug.

With the spark plug removed it should turn over nice and easy.

Gotta make certain those bearings from the rod to crank are the correct size.

Double check you have the correct parts installed.
