Well I think I just toasted my motor boys I was running my XB and everything was fine it just stopped and will not start again it doesn't seem to have much compression by the feels of things are they just weak motors or what I'm running hd clutch with 8000rpm spring,813 Walbro carb and just put on jetpro side pipe theirs probably 8-10 tanks through the car has anybody had problems with these motor and I guess what should I get to fix or make better

There is a couple spots above the ring where the piston had some pieces break off it scored the head to is there any type of piston ring head kit for the 30cc an upgrade kit would be nice

Hey thanks guys I ordered everything but has anyone tried to polish the tops of there pistons to see if it performs better just curious I was thinking of trying it but if somebody already did I'd like to know if it works thanks

Glad to hear u got the part OTW Good luck !! If possible post pics of your work Seems this Forum Needs a few Build Threads.

scary

I'm kinda somewhat mechanically inclined but even I would never dare do something like that coz' I'm scared that I might do more harm than good :D

Well I guess it's probably a good thing I ordered 2 of everything cause I've built lots of motors for cars I was just a little thrown back when I saw a ruff top to a piston it kinda goes against everything I've ever known I'm gonna give it a shot what's the worst that could happen it's either gonna suck or kick ass hopefully it kicks ass I'll try to post some pics when I do it just so u guys can see the outcome I figure hey for $25 to replace the top end if it fails at least I'll be able to say no you can't do that but I tried.

also when you put the on make sure the head bolts and threads are free of any oil and use blue loctite on the head bolts
