if i get one,i will be fitting a 30.5 cc t.s reed case engine on it,can it handle that sort of power ?cheers
Here's my XB running my TS / ESP reed 30.5. XB runs the same diffs as the MT minus two spider gears. The MT will be harder on the diff than the XB because of the weight, however, the extra two spider gears should solve any problems.

are the diffs in these mt LSD at all ???if not,is there any after market lsd diffs you can buy some where ?

thanks
LSD = Limited Slip Diff. Limited slip diffs come in several variaties. The most popular form of LSD is a viscous diff filled with silicon diff fluid. Other less popular diffs use springs, pressure plates, and setscrews to adjust the slip. All Rampages have sealed viscous differentials. You adjust the differential with different weight silicon oil just like the 1/8 scale buggies and truggies. If you want to lock the diff just slap in some silly putty.

hi demonrc

thanks for info and reply also.

whats your thoughts on the tgn side mount pipe ?

i heard it goes pretty well, makes good power ?

what does viscous diff mean, slight locking ?

thanks man.

As he described, it means it uses fluid to control the slippage vs mechanical mechanisim. If you want a lot of slip you use a lightweight diff oil like 1000wt, if you want to slip less (lock up more) increase the weight. There's a massive range of available diff oils.
