Ran 3 and half tanks of fuel through her and found that the steering will stop working after about 3/4 of a tank of fuel is this normal?

And tonight I lost steering at 3/4 of a tank and ran into a chain link fence softly. No big deal except when I got the batt recharged and now I only have steering one way. And if I move tires the other way by hand I get steering on that side and not the other.. Oh ya and I am very green to this hobby. Not green to 2 stroke motors. What's broken or what do I need to check any help would be great.. And she's all stock just however the pro comes outta the box. Thanks

You may have flat spotted the final output gear on the servo...your sevo and fuel tanks have nothing to do with each other so rule that out... If your confident in dismantling a servo look to see if that's the problem or if its just burnt out

Thank you for the help what am I looking for in the servo? Also do these things burn out that fast 3 tanks of fuel and steering servo shot? Is there warranty on this? Any diagrams or pics on how to disassemble this

I bought it from splatter paintball and extreme rc in grande prairie alberta Canada..

do you suggest I go through them with warranty or contact redcat direct?

also is this a common problem with these big heavy rc's.

maybe they were defective from the begingin with the steering not lasting a tank of fuel or 45 min.. I do relize that steering is not in relation to the motor but I think I should be able to run a tank of fuel through it and have my steering the whole time.

Go right through redcat u fill out a form and pretty much they send u what's broken.my servos went out right away and they took care of it.

Most definitely see if redcat will hook you up on warranty issue! The steering servos are a decent servo if the end points are set rite. I have been bashing strong for 2 years on a stock unit.....won't say it's in the best shape.. But its still rock in and Rollin.

End points are set up on your transmitter so that you don't "overdrive" your servos.

Example. Pull trigger and watch the throttle on carb. If it is bottoming out you are probably overdrive the servo and will eventually strip the gears or burn out the servo. Set the end point means adjusting your radio to open the carb to the max setting without jamming it up on the stop.

Same setup for steering.

Turn wheel to see how far it will turn the wheels. End point adjustment is to turn the transmitter "down" so it is not pushing the wheel servo and causing it to "buzz". You want max movement but you don't want to push the servo to where it will burn out or strip gears.
