well got my rampage MT today...wow is all i can say...went throught the entire truck...checked everything out..fueled it up and down the road i went.....about 20 ft...an BAM...left steering servo blows up...i mean really?? i thought this issue was supposed to be corrected? called redcat...they say send in the servo an we'll take a look at it...i say what am i suppose to do in the meantime...i just bought the truck an want to play...he says...idk..what a freakin joke man.. they should immediately send me another one with a PAID return label....this is b@$%$...i heard alot of people saying they had good customer service....lies

don't get me wrong i knew this was a problem before i bought the truck...outside of the servo crapping out i really like the truck its freaking huge and built like a tank...it makes my baja 5sc look like a toy...everything is big and stout...it just screams get the f@!k out of my way...lmao...so i'm very happy with my purchase but not happy at with customer service....if these are "suppose" to be the new servo's redcat better take it back to the drawing board...

First off Welcome!!! and Sorry to hear of your Misfortune. and I agree they should send one right out but honestly I would not want the stock servos period !!!

Also I have to disagree on the CS They are great compared to lots of other brands. They will send u another servo Just have a lil Patience i know just how u feel and yea it suxs but worth the wait :D

Well I wanted to look into this huge servo that came ion the XB-e and found that one of the leads from the position pot is not soldered but is just touching a blob of solder ...

:D

I did buy an upgrade even before receiving the car...after reading all of the "issues"

well before i even took the truck out i put a brandnew hi tech 645 on the throttle so that it didnt burn out and go WOT on me...lol...but the local hobby store had those...but not the 805s for the steering...i don't really want another one from redcat...but the dude was kinda like i don't give a sheot about your problem though...but i do love the the truck....think i like it better than my 5sc...cant wait to run it...

I can completely understand your frustration but where did you read that the servo issues were completely sorted out? I've now read this same post on 3 forums and regardless of the service you received, I would personally be more inclined to email Darin at Redcat and discuss it further rather then jumping on every forum to bash customer service. If this company had a CS record of Integy, I'd say post away, but they don't. They have been great at helping other members out.

i believe that is who i spoke to on the phone....an i will bash customer service on every forum on the web if thats what i choose to do...no bashing the product at all just his attitude...you didnt speak with him on the phone...I did...

I believe that is what you choose to do because you have done it. Good luck.
