That just means you know have a well broke in bottom end to put a new head kit on . Well looking at it as the glass is half full.

Seriously look at your pipe mount with a rigd pipe mount and lots of jumping could have hurt the head and helped it fatigue as well as running lean.

Sprint is right, it sucks but it is an apportunity. I guess Im not the only one who has gotten numb to these expensive mishaps. Might as well try a relieved piston next time. They are cheap added security from ONB.

so you guys wonder why this would happen, heres the answer it's called way too many rpm's for way to long of time, first time i just snapped the head bolts, put it back together tried the oval one more time and just held her down till it finally let go and died, lol. if your gonna go, go big i say,lol..........

OMG OMG OMG I think I am running too lean.

Cause feew days ago head bolts just un-screwed by itself.

Hopefully it's nothing serious

mine done that first but that is just cause the vibration it went lean because the bolts were loose and i didn't know i was just bein a lil rough on it that day, lol. but you might want to put some loctite high temp on the bolts but don't over tighten them

Its common for the headbolts to slightly lossen during the 1st tank or 2 after a head is installed. Thats why you should check them periodically especially if you just put a head on, gasket on, or the engine is new.

yeah did that but mine simply snapped the head bolts when it popped the head off and i'm not running high compression
