Hi guys I got this engine not to long ago maybe 1 month and last time I used it it just stopped I tried to start it again and everytime I pulled I felt no resitance so I took the flywheel cover out and this is what I noticed if I spin the flywheel by hand nothing happens the cylinder does not go up and down only if I spin the clutch by hand it goes up and down.

Thanks

I don't think so cause I use the cylinder stopper to remove the flywheel and it still spins by hand can the crankshaft be broken inside?

One way to find out. Just pull the flywheel off. Very easy to do.

If the crank broke, you would not be able to turn it over. The piston rod would get bound up.

I tried that but like I said I used the flywheel puller and nothing stops it from spinning

I am able to spin the clutch and flywheel in opposite ways I can see the rod spinning with the flywheel why would it brake?

You stated you used a piston stopper. You need a puller to remove the flywheel. Once the center nut is removed the flywheel pulls off, not spins off. This is the puller to be used.

Yeah I have that but when I turn the center bolt to pull the flywheel and I have the piston stopper the flywheel just spins. I'm gonna try to take a video is kind of confusing I can only think that the rod on the flywheels side broke

Hold the puller with channel locks or put a screw driver/bar thru the puller to stop the rotation.[try not to damage the threads].

A allen wrench can be used between the case and fly wheel to pry the wheel off the taper lock .

Once you get it to "wiggle" it pops right off.

Sounds like it sheared the key , advanced timing or pre detonation?

Ok finally got the flywheel out and like I said before I hold the clutch with my hand and I'm able to spin the rod either way while I hold the clutch so the rod has to be broken inside rigth?

Sounds like it snapped. Is it a lightened piston or stuffed crank?
It's the full mod engine with the stuff cranck. I wonder if this thing has a warranty I was the third time I used it or am I screwed?
