Recoil rope diameter

All I could fing in town was 4.5 recoil rope it is larger than what is on my Zenoah any one know what size the recoil rope is.

I think it measures 2.5mm?

I believe the larger diameter will still fit as well with little mods, if any. Personally, if mine breaks I'd get the thicker one unless it prevents it from rolling smoothly.

i bought some rope from my local Tractor Supply. it was just ever so slightly larger than the stock stuff but way better.

like 3.89 for 50 ft of it.

I found some 3mm from a Stihl chainsaw, the quality is much better, it is installed and ready to go. I bought one as a spare. They were $1.99 each.
