This is a good idea as its part of maintenance, they're a aluminium casing filled with a correct amount of oil and sealed with a oil ring/0ring and not a paper gasket ect so its very easy to seal back up againHi there, i was just wondering do i need to replace the diff gasket if I am just opening it up just to check there is oil in it?
Is it just a case of filling with oil and sealing it back up again?
Is it a wise decision to do this on a new baja?
Wont hurt to check the oil level even tho its new also the Gasket should be fine to use again but it also cheap enough to replaceIt's a hpi baja.
Ok so I will definitely check it.
Also it is brand new, I still haven't run it. Would I still need to replace the gasket ?
I'm hoping not as I haven't used it yet.
