reveiver battery requirments

what would you guys say the minimum capacity should be for a receiver pack??? i have a pile of 1700mah cells kicking around that are still in good shape that i was thinking of using for the time being. hoping to change my crawler over to lipo and then will use those cells (4500mah) for a receiver pack.

As a general rule of thumb the higher the mah, the longer you run time you will get. The higher the cell count the more power. Of course there are other variables, but that is the rough idea.

I say use the 1700's until you get the li-po system. Might as well use them since you got them.

run a couple in parallel even. use it for weight to balance the car hehe
