I know not a lot of boat action here on the forum. But I thought I’d share some pics of my Rico Racing 48” Offshore build. I started with a bare Rico Offshore 48” hull. These are high quality fiberglass hulls with a smooth and polished gel coat finish. I opened up the scoops and added stainless screens for some cooling. Motor is a Gizmo 30 Plus mod with billet case ~ 8hp @ 22k rpm. Gizmo V2 pipe, clutch and all Speedmaster hardware on the transom. With a 7016 3 blade prop should exceed 60mph at max rpm. I made my own 2 in / 2 out water pump. Bonzi tach, kill switch, tank and fuel door. Just waiting on Savox 320 and 321 waterproof servos to finish up.
