The right side of the motor threads is striped where you screw the pipe into the motor so the right side of the pipe will not tighten down. Is there a fix for this without having to change the top end of the motor? I have tried the next up size screw and it will not fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can use a Helicoil.

You would need an M5 kit. Unless you plan on doing this alot, its almost cheaper to buy a new head and upgrade to 28.5 while you are at it.
