I don't know but it's more than a rumor since the locations were officially posted and there's no 5th scale nats listed...

I'm kinda hoping it's on the east coast within a 10 hour drive or less for me...

I'm not clear on the 1/5 scale class, but the on-road carpet ROAR Nat's are being held at HobbyPlex in Omaha, Nebraska. Having never been to the ROAR Nationals, do they split venues like that, or do they choose whichever track wins the bid to run all classes?
 
maybe they ll end up at the track in Clevland Oh. i heard they hosted a few yrs back and had a great turnout. if its there i may try to make it down to watch.

don't remember the name of the track, but its very nicely done.
