Samba F-1 pipe?

There used to be a Samba pipe with a carbon silencer tucked beneath it and I have been told it was a FG F-1 pipe fit to a MCD. Dose anyone have any experience with this pipe or know if it is still available?

The pipe is still listed on the Modelcargo website http://www.modelcargo.com/main.php?mod=page&num=32&dep=samba but it was apparently discontinued some time ago. It was replaced by http://www.kingcobra.co.uk/news/newsitem.php?id=462

I managed to purchase probably the last new one left in the UK late last year from one of the engine builders here. All I can suggest is that you email Modelcargo to see if they have any left.

It was designed for the Rally car and will not fit the Race Runner - the roll cage gets in the way.

theres an fi pipe on ebay , sad thing is it comes with a car, look at picture 10, don't want him, don't think the shockers will hold is wait lol :cool2:
