The FG shock oil is Silicone and the Baja shock oil is Petroleum based not sure why you couldn't use the Baja oil in the Fg but I know the Silicone oils cannot be used in the Baja.
And don't mix the two either.:nono:

I bought some 50 wt and some 60 wt I put 50 in the front and 60 in the rear, I used Associated silicone shock oil.
Silicone is by far superior to petroleum based oils.
