Should I upgrade anything?

I am refering to a Baja 1000 EVO III.

I already have a 2x2 chunk of 7075 aluminum to remake some of the plastic parts.
1. steering upper support
2. center brake/diff support
3. servo mount plate.

Is there anything else I should think about upgrading?

I know every one says you don't need to.

I bought my MCD used and it came with all the alloy hop ups you are going to make. It also came with the alloy gear plate, Mintex brake upgrade (I am not sure if this comes standard on the Evo III), and the fuel tank alloy supports. Since my truck came with all these I can’t compare them to the stock parts, I can however say my truck is solid and hold up really well. I would however, suggest you pick up a set of the transmission steel gear set. I did have a problem with the stock plastic gears (position C&D) stripping out on me. Since I installed the steel gears I haven’t had a problem with stripped gears. I think you made a wise choice; you are going to wish you got one sooner. I have the pre EVO version and love it; I can only imagine how much better the EVO III is. Just might have to do some EVO III spec upgrades:celebrate:.
