hi all. i have a baja hpi 5b. the problem is we race on a tar oval and in the corners, it does not want to turn sharp enough to make the bend.i checked the linkage and there is a lot of play. Replaced with new links still has the same problem, is there any way to stiffen up the linkage to remove the slop .thanks in advance.

Hello, ever since i changed to symmetrical steering i have no problems, try take it apart ans install it back with loctite...

you could try and tighten the adjuster screw down a couple of turns fella,
its the screw above the servo saver in the centre that goes through the saver and spring,
check the underside as well if you do adjust to make sure the screws thread doesn't come too far out and foul the chassis (y)

hi. i did try that but there is still too much slop. the sim steer is the way to go. here in south Africa that sells for R1800.00 which is out of my price range.

right so either check the small silver/grey piece on the servo saver cos the do crack,
or replace the servo saver assembly itself with a fresh one, or a turtleracing servo saver setup or similar, cheaper than symsteer (y),
i've had the cracked silver piece thing happen to me in the past, but on grass, steered not so bad but the faster you go the worse the steering gets,
