If you ever have a chance to attend a real 1/5 scale race do it. It is fun to be able to talk to all the pro's and get help and find out what works and what doesn't. You always get great deals on parts and upgrades at these events and meet new people. I am definitely lucky to have 4 tracks within 2 hrs from me and 1 of them is local. There is a new series this year that is 6 races, 1 at each track. You can find the info on the MOD Speed shop website.

Very lucky! My local track wont even consider 1/5 scale. Kinda bums me out a bit after watching them fly around the track.
