My MT came(used) with a NGK CR8HVX the longer plug in the pic and I have a couple of new NGK CMR7H,what is the difference between plugs?And I should be able to use the shorter plug no??:balloon:

you can use either one the short is the standard run of the mill plug the longer one is a iridium performance plug these are a better plug giving you a much better spark i run one of these myself in my beetle seems ok but i doubt you would notice any difference between the 2 plugs pictured other than price
 
I run the Iridium too.
Problem is it's length - often gets in the way!
I've had to replace the ignition cable once because of a 'tumble' that also severed the cable 'slightly' - roll bar or not - on my MT. :cursing:
Won't happen now, with the cut-out body, but the standard one has limited sized cut-out.
Some say there's little to gain in the Iridium. ... I know my truck flies and I'm happy !!
