bought a used marder and have being trying to get a spark plug for it , used the search button and ordered one of the plugs on the list:helpsmilie: , only problem the tread seems to be narrow the original one has a standard size thread but short plug.. i ordered a NGK CMR7H . car was fitted with a champion CJ8???
 
You can go to your auto parts store and get plugs there, they are pretty cheap.
Was the plug not working? The plugs usually last quite a long time on gassers.

the reason i want to change the plug is feels like the car is limiting to early sounds like only half throttle?????? as though the spark is weak??? or is there something else that can cause this ive checked and it is getting full throttle??
 
Could be a leak in a gasket. Give the motor a good thorough look and make sure all your bolts are tight.

When you find the plug that fits, be sure and buy a few spares. I have 3-4 always laying around, just in case. I've not changed a plug in 3 years though LOL

you probably have a solo engine. it takes a way different plug than cy or zenoah. I have to go to a small engine repair shop to get plugs here. no auto place had them. these guys fix pressure washers and such
 
i've found like posted already a small engine repair shop/lawn mower is where i get plugs at they have a large variety just take the old one with you they can cross reference if possible to find a match.
