Hi all
i have a spektrum dx2.0 and was wondering how to set the built in fail safe, when i turn the radio off and leave the battery on the throttle jumps 1/3 open. is their a way to set the failsafe to work correctly.
im sorry for the noob questions, i am new at this..
thank you very much,

finger acrobatics. lol

you have to:

turn TX on.
HOLD the Bind Button on the TX, while at the SAME TIME, holding the steering and troatle control in the EXACT position you want them to be in, at then once you have them HELD INPLACE> you need to use your toe, foot, middle finger or tallywhacker to turn on the rx and push the bind button on the RX Unit.

is best to have a 2nd person there or to grow to additional arms for the binding/failsafe setup process on the Spekys.

re

hi thanks for the tips,
i have tried whta you suggested but the throttle is strong so wen i turn on the rx it jumps back even when i am holding as hard as i can, should i apply even more force?
thanks for the help so far

no if you push the throatle to about 1/2 brake when your doing the setup failsafes, it should accept that input. i would strongly suggest you read thru the failsafe/binding setup part of the manual. thats what i had to do a few times before i fully understoon what they were trying to tell me to do, which is finger acrobatics. you shouldnt have to force anything.

OK. I have a spectrum DX3 only difference is a 3rd channel..
For binding go over your manual..I used rubber band to set my trigger
forward to set the break..wrapped it around the trigger and to the front of
the transmiter..Now you can bind ok with both hands..That should help..

Fail safe

Ok just so you know the fail safe is mostly for nitro guys with spectrum..
if battery drops below 4.8 vollts..it should apply the break..but it will go to full
throttle...You should consider a 3 channel radio system..And get a electronic
kill switch.. you hook up to wiring harness of orig kill switch on engine..
If you loose TX signal, low or low battery..It will kill engine for you..
or with the 3rd channel button you can kill it your self...
The vernom does not work with spectrum radio system...
So you can get one from www.davesmotors.com
Hope this helps..AKA Slawhammer

hello
i have a voltage protection unit installed, so even with the failsafe and the volatge protection it can still go full throttle if their is a glitch?
does the kill switch work with my dx2.0? if so do i use the c switch to activate it?
which killswitch would you recommend? TGN killswitch any good with the spektrums?
thanks for your help..
