Spur Gear seized to layshaft

How do I remove a Spur Gear that is seized to layshaft? Yep clip is removed.

Managed to remove it with out destroying it.

Which vehicle? If it's an FG then there's a set screw on the gear carrier along with a c clip

Sorry about that. Its a baja 5b. I have a small gear puller I used to pull it out just enough to free it. Then I
was able to remove it by hand.
