stock can rubbing on roll cage

My friend just got a baja and his exhaust can is rubbing against the roll cage.
What would cause this?
I know he will end up getting a preformance exhaust in the not to disatant future but is there anything that can be done in the mean time. Re-aline the engine?

its not a big issue. sounds like he bought an older unit. teh offset of the stock can was changed a bit in later runs to move it to the side. but for the most part, it shouldnt be a worry.

i added a tuned pipe ,,, i will sell my old muffler for 20 plus shipping .... its the new syle that dose no hit frame

Thanks for the offer, if it's nothing to really worry about, i think he will just put up with it untill he buys his own tuned pipe.
