I striped my clutch gear:no: and I was wondering who makes metal gears for the Fire Hammer MT

not positive, but i think you can buy the ones made for the FG MT and bolt them right up.

Which gear are you talking about? The 48t plastic spur? If so, like Timmah said, the 48t spur for the FG's will work just fine. I have one on mine.

You probably only need to go metal on the smaller pinion gear. You can leave the larger 48 tooth gear plastic with no problems.

The FG spur and carrier will work. The pinion on the FHMT I belive is like the Firehammer spur a 19 tooth and not sure any pinions for Fg will work on the FH,FHMT due to spacing on the gear plate.

After looking at that again It baffles me why they have Carson with FG? The Gear carriers are not the same so, the gears cannot be the same.
I would email them your question.

I have a plastic spur gear in combination with this and it has lasted about 8 tanks so far, and looks good.

I agree with BTB, the FG pinions will not work with the FHMT. Pretty sure the spur gears will.
