So the new buggy is running great, got my break in tank done and decided yesterday to run another tank through it. Went to the local football field and had some fun, drifted around the baseball field awhile then back to the football field. Halfway through a tank I am heading back at myself and it wont turn, steering servo fried! 60 minutes of running and its dead? Are you kidding me???

Anyways, new servo on the way already. Figured I might as well upgrade the throttle servo while Im at it cause if I don't it will pop next time I drive it. Heres what I chose for steering duties...

And for throttle/brakes...

It should steer like a razor blade and stop on a dime, giving me 8 cents back! I will let yall know how the choices are once they get here next week.

My KM steering servo died within a tank also.
I sent the original one back & rec'd a new one. While waiting on the replacement I ordered an HPI steering servo & installed it.
Dancl4 or whatever his screen name is who sells the KM buggy's & parts took care of all my issues without any problems.

So the Hitec servos showed up today and I put them in. WOW! Is all I can say. It steers awesome, precise and where/when I want it to. The brakes are phenominal now, I can lock them up from top speed if I want or modulate them so I can make smooth stops.

If you look on Ebay you can get them BOTH from RCSuperStore for $116 delivered for the pair! Thats alot of Digital servo for the money. I just finished my 3rd tank, well kinda, had to shut it down at 35 minutes to go inside to pee. LOL I drained the tank after that and cleaned the car up. I still had 200cc's of fuel left.

Just to let you know, KM has increased the tank size to 750cc when it is level with the bottom of the filler neck. The cars from DanLC4 still says it is a 500cc tank but thats where I got mine and its 750cc. I checked it from empty to full with a Venom fuel bottle (500cc capacity).

mine were still in good shape, but since i upgraded the radio i upgraded the servos as well, a 5755 and a 7955 and the metal mount for steering servo swap too. but they were still working just fine.
