Hoping this is the right place to post this...

I just purchased a Super 5SC Flux second hand.

I have some questions about parts.

I'd like to add a light bar to the front bumper. Will this work?

I'd also like to add an under guard. Will this work?

Finally, a spare tire mount on the rear. Will this work?

Can anyone point me to some good aftermarket wheels and tires?

The Super 5sc Flux was actually more HPI Savage than 5B/5T. About the only Baja parts on it are the tires/wheels and it might be able to share the body with the 5T/5SC Most Baja parts arent going to work on it. Go to HPI's website and download the manual for it.

Super 5sc is all based off a 1/8 Savage Flux HP. Almost no baja parts on it, except tires. It blows diffs every few runs on 6s, and just being a 1/5 running off 1/8 parts you will need a lot of upgrades to make it good. 5s is the sweet spot. I have a savage flux I converted to 1/5 but its not the same and requires lots of maintenance, I now have a losi 5t, and rarely drive my Savage5 anymore. I wasted a lot of money on it when I should of just bought a baja or losi 5t long time ago.

Underguard wont work at all, light bar and spare tire carrier could work, but wont bolt on, you will have to do some mod work on both parts to make it work.

Take it easy on the throttle when running on 6s. don't punch it to 100% throttle right off the start. I like running mine on 5s best, still plenty fast, but not as much wear and tear on parts. Get RPM arms also once you start breaking arms if you crash.

The light pod bumper worked. Easy install. Took about 10 minutes to unscrew the stock bumper and replace it with the Baja bumper with light pods. I also painted the Baja body today. Once I add decals, I'll post some pics of the transformation.

I looked. You have a lot of vids. I couldn't find the video you're referring to. Can you post the link?

Here's a few, I don't drive it as much anymore, sits on the shelf a lot...
Remember mine is Savage Flux HP Converted to 5T with TCS kit and 5T body vs your HPI Super 5sc would have additional side mounts, different bumpers, center diff (forgot the 5sc Flux had this, which will save your f&r diffs which I think are still 9t/29t). Its the most fun with the body, but most times I would run it as a Savage 5B without the body, as its less weight and thus less wear and tear on drivetrain (diffs).

With body and 1717 motor

No body 1518 motor

You will love driving yours no matter what......
