Ok guys. I am somewhat new to gas rc vehicles. I always read that you need a kill switch. Ok so I went cheap and bought the one that redcat makes. The only problem with that is if you end up having problems with your battery, it does not work. I went out yesterday with my wife out in a sand pit. About 2 minutes out I lost control. It just missed hitting my wife. I jumped on my atv to try to catch up it it and it ended up turning around and almost hitting my wife again. It did end up flipping over and died but I did break a drive shaft in the process.
I just want to tell everyone how important a good quality kill switch is. I am going to look at the best place to get a killer rc version. Maybe someone out there has a spare one to sell me. After checking my rc I found that the problem was the battery cable got worn out from the battery moving around a little bit and lost all power.
