the MCD air filter housing is bad

i was attempting to fit a new foam filter on the air filter housing and to realign the 6 posts together is ridiculously stupid who ever design it needs to be given the

i can fix it by drilling some holes in it.

when using just the inner foam filter connecting the outer plastic cover is easy as the 6 post alignment can be seen...i'm just going to use the inner foam filter with air filter oil.
when both foam filters are in place connecting the outer plastic cover into the 6 holes is bad and it can't be seen joining.
