tiny tach rpm guage has iratic idle up and down

hi guys


iv just got a tiny tach commercial rpm guage,# ctt-apr


iv fitted to my currnet g27orc engine tonite for the first time.


any way,it seems that when engine is idleing that the guage reads iratically.


i wonder why ??


on the internet it says it updates evey 1/2 second !!


do any any of you guys have atiny tach rpm guage or know of some one that has one with the same problem ??


it idles @ about 1,100 rpm and bounces up and down about 100 rpm sort of range.


may be its normal i don't know ??


any ideas please ??

depends on how accurate your tach is, but if you are worried about 100, nothing to worry about, thats fairly close.

It could be that your idle is right at that point where a few rpm fluctuation is bouncing back and forth. You might not hear it with your ears, but it could happen.
