Tires and rims?

What tires and rims are everybody using on the MT? From what I've read so far, it seems smaller and narrower might be better?

It just depends what you want to do with it. The MT tires are very heavy so not the best for racing. They look cool as hell but are really heavy. The reason for replacing is to get better performance.
 
So what are the better ones for more performance? Two of my pals just got cars (which I haven't seen yet), one got the Dunerunner and the other got the Losi 5IVE-T. I'd like to keep up with them. No track racing per se, just off road out in the desert.
 
I run proline trencher rears on all 4 on my MT. Hostile makes some great tires also. If you run the Baja wheel/tire combos you will need wheel adapters. You will also need to run a taller gear ratio.
 
I run hostile nightmares, they are a nice balance of grass and dirt use, hard compound with soft foams will give you a good bite in the desert.
