Ok I been reading alot on this forum for weeks, and seen alot video's of these being ran. One thing I noticed was if someone posts a vidoe of there trucks coming of the ground just a little bit it seem's like its a huge deal or a sin. Am I missing something or just still to new. I mean except for my crawlers my other rc's get the crap driving out them. Like my slash bl 4x4. I have launched that thing a good 25 ft in the air and 4out 5 times its ok. Now I get that a 30 lb truck prolly cant do that without being destroyed. But 4-10 ft of the ground is that to much for these? I take care my stuff but I like to run them hard, espacially the slash. Now this ramp, I can tell its not like that but I was just wondering your thoughts on this.
 
its a totaly different ball game with these vrs a slash. don't get me wrong the ramps are strong but if you jump one 30 feet in the air your gonna hear cash registers ringing when it hits the ground. :eek: they are stout for there weight though and its not really how high you jump one(with in reason of corse) but more how it lands.
 
Ive jumped mine. It jumped 5ft high dirt piles no prob. but not skateboard ramps. I don't know why it didnt like the ramps bc Ive seen people jump those same ramps and even knarlier stuff than that. Oh well. Mine wieghed less than 25lbs and had stiff front springs to pop the nose up a bit in the air. I didnt correct it in the air and I was off throttle immediatly.
 
I just got back from town and went to the skatepark with the slash...thats alwyas somuch fun. They have this 6 ft high ramp and on other side is a down hill grss side. Right before I left i hit that bad boy full throttle and im estimating but with my 11.4 5400 lipo i hit it around 50-55 easy and it went higher them thelight posts which are pretty dang high around 30-50 maybe...landind welll.......


Ibroke the chassis but it kept going and well i expected something from that but it landed on all four's


Well I would neverrun the ramplike that, but now i have a better idea of its abilities
