Hey guys - need some advice ! I was tearing down my engine to install my new 30.5 ported kit that I received from OBR , which included 2 bolts to remove flywheel (they were out of the puller) . I got the flywheel off , but poked 2 holes through the case ! OOPS ! I talked to Sean via e-mail and he said he would send me new cases with bearings and seals @ no charge - very cool ! Here is my ques.- I notice that the CY cases, bearings, and seals look different than the original - the support on the castings are thinner, bearings are open - not sealed, roll pins are smaller - not as deep ! Should I (a) try to fix original case ? (b) Just use the 1 new case 1/2 - change bearing n seal or not ? © Use both new cases, bearings, n seals ? Want to work the 30.5 but not blow it up !!! Has anyone used these cases ? Thanks for any feedback !

I use a cy case no problem,but i did put fast eddie stainless steel brgs in it with stock seals. i take it you have a stroker crank and also, and i would recommend to try the zero drag seals cause for some reason i just blew the seal on the flywheel side again so i am gonna aleast try a zero drag seal on that side to see if it will stop that from happening anymore. hope this helps.
