Saw a video in YouTube and the guy was talking about these kits. In his opinion by adding these kits to a smaller cc engine you can achieve almost the power of upgrading the entire engine. Can someone let me know if there is any truth to this.

Yes, the cases are the same. So adding a new piston and cylinder will increase power. Or go further and replace the crankshaft too.

The benefit to replacing the whole engine, would be to upgrade to a 4bolt. The 2bolts are more prone to blowing gaskets, especially on higher hp engines.
