Transmitter Range seems low

Took out my new to me MT today and noticed transmitter range seemed a little on the week side. Best guess on the distance, but at about 60 yards the transmitter stopped communicating with the truck.


Weak batteries?
 
Possibly...

Either the transmitter or receiver batteries.

Another thing to check.... Make sure the antenna wire is in good shape and up to the top of the tube. A few have found the antenna wire had broken off the circuit board on the receiver.

You should get a good 100 yards of range.
