In order to install on the MT, does the engine have to be off? I got to the final step, only to find out last part won't fit. The space between it and the chassis is to small. Any tips on what needs to be done?

Couldn't wait any longer for a reply. Pulled out the old hammer and did a little bending. Not exactly what I wanted to do, but it's installed.

It will fit if you pull the engine.

I trimmed my chassis to make it easier.

I guess I can remove the pipe and trim it. But once the pipe is on you can't see the bend.
